Early Sept.28, the closing session of the 9th provincial Youth Union for the 2012 and 2017 tenure congress took place at provincial Political Education School.

Attending the closing session were Vu Thanh Mai, Head of Standing Member of the Youth Union Central Committee, Head of the Department of Youth at Schools; Nguyen Thanh Liem, Head of provincial Committee for Public Relations and leaders of province and provincial Youth Union over periods together with 240 official delegates.

At the closing session, the congress approved the brief report of the result of two working days from Sept.26 to 27; the report of contributive ideas to the draft document of the 10th national Youth Union congress and the draft of amended Youth Union regulations, the draft document of the 9th provincial Youth Union.

Delegates also heard the report from provincial Labor Union on coordination work in taking care of young workers’ spiritual and material lives; the report from provincial Department of Education and Training on coordination work in education of thought, morals and lifestyle among pupils and students.

The congress elected the executive board of the 9th provincial Youth Union with 41 members. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang was re-elected as Secretary of provincial Youth Union while Pham Hong Thang and Nguyen Thi Kim Mai were re-elected as Deputy Secretaries of provincial Youth Union. The congress also sorted out a delegation with 13 members to attend the 10th national Youth Union congress.

On this occasion, 50 individuals were awarded the certificates of merit from the Youth Union Central Committee and provincial People’s Committee for their excellent performance in the local youth and children’s movements in the 2007 and 2012 tenure.
