Activities to mark Martyrs’ Day
As informed by Mr. Ninh Quoc Binh, Deputy Director of Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, by July 27, activities in the whole province would be focused on the 65th anniversary of Martyrs’ Day. Accordingly, tribute candle lighting should start at 19:00 in martyr monuments across districts, towns and the city on July 26. In the meantime, on July 26, a visit and get-together should be organized at provincial martyr monument. On this occasion, 20,500 privileged households have been offered with gift visit at the cost of over VND 11 billion. The provincial leaders also pay gift visits to 330 families of martyrs and injured veterans and revolution contributors living in difficulties.Besides, the provincial authority has also organized travel trips for heroic mothers and selected families of martyrs to Ha Noi, Phu Quoc, and Con Dao.
