On July 04, 2011, the government issued Decree No. 54/2011 stipulating allowances for senior teachers in public, institutions, schools, training centers under State’s organizations, political, socio-political organization which have been already calculated by salary regime under government’s Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP dated December 14, 2004 for officiers, cadres and armed forces. Accordingly, teachers of 5 years (60 months) teaching will be offered with 5% of their current salary and position allowances (if any), for each year, the allowances will be added up 1%.

The allowances regime ruled by this Decree is effective from and on May 1, 2011.
