The Vietnam Culinary Culture Association has awarded certificates to 121 dishes honored as typical cuisine in phase 1-2022 and announced phase 2-2023 project "Building and developing Vietnamese culinary culture into a national brand".
Gỏi gà măng cụt (mangosteen chicken salad)
The project "Building and developing Vietnamese culinary culture into a national brand", period 2022-2024, is implemented to find, restore, preserve, promote and develop Vietnamese culinary culture to new heights, with the orientation of turning heritage into assets. During phase 1-2022, the project received 421 culinary dish nominations from 60/63 provinces and cities nationwide, including Binh Duong. At the end, the Organizing Committee selected and recognized 121 typical Vietnamese culinary dishes.
In this round, Binh Duong has 3 typical culinary dishes honored in the "Journey to find typical Vietnamese culinary cultural values" under the above project, including: gỏi gà măng cụt (mangosteen chicken salad), cháo môn lươn (eel porridge), and bánh bèo bì (bloating-fern-shaped cake).
