In order to attract, encourage and motivate enterprises and rural industrial production establishments to be more active in maintaining production and developing high-quality products, recently, the local Department of Industry and Trade has issued an official dispatch on sending registration documents on voting for typical rural industrial products in the Southern region in 2024. Binh Duong sends 41 typical rural industrial products recognized at the provincial level to participate in the Regional Vote in 2024.

Pursuant to Circular No. 26/2014/TT-BCT dated August 28, 2014 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade regulating the organization of voting for typical rural industrial products; Circular No. 14/2018/TT-BCT dated June 28, 2018 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade amending and supplementing some articles of Circular No. 26/2014/TT-BCT. As implementing the National Industrial Promotion Plan in 2024, the local Department of Local Industry and Trade presided over and coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade of Kien Giang province to organize the selection of typical rural industrial products in the Southern region in 2024.

The local Department of Industry and Trade directed the selection of typical rural industrial products in the Southern region in 2024 in Official Dispatch No. 731/CTĐP-TTCN dated July 23, 2024. The purpose of the voting is to continue selecting outstanding, typical products in the provincial-level typical rural industrial products in 2024 to honor at the regional level.

The voting results serve as a basis for continuing to support rural industrial production establishments in developing production, promoting trade, and contributing to facilitating rural industrial development. To attract, encourage and motivate enterprises, rural industrial production facilities in general and units with voted products to be more encouraged to maintain production and develop high-quality products with potential and advantages of the region and the country.

The vote for regional typical rural industrial products in 2024 is carried out according to the principles of publicity and transparency. Products registered for voting must be products that have been voted and granted a certificate of typical rural industrial products at the provincial level (the certificate is still valid), fully meeting the voting criteria at the regional level according to regulations, are truly unique, typical products, of high quality, with potential for production development, market expansion, and meeting the tastes of domestic and foreign consumers.

The voting council will directly score on the software at: http://sanphamcnnttb.art.gov.vn and view the products to have real and accurate information to properly assess the quality of the products as well as ensure compliance with the regulations for the production process of products registered for voting; announce the voting results and organize the ceremony to honor and award certificates for typical rural industrial products in the Southern region in 2024, expected to be held in the fourth quarter of 2024.

As participating in the organization of the voting together with the local Office of Industry and Trade, Binh Duong Provincial Department of Industry and Trade updated, supplemented documents, prepared products to register for voting; reviewed and confirmed the list of rural industrial establishments with products that meet the conditions to register for voting for typical rural industrial products at the regional level in 2024 and send them to the local Office of Industry and Trade; coordinate with the local Office of Industry and Trade to inform local enterprises/rural industrial production establishments about the voting plan, voting results and the ceremony to honor and award certificates for typical rural industrial products at the regional level in 2024. Other relevant units, depending on their functions and tasks, will coordinate with the Provincial Department of Industry and Trade to mobilize and support businesses to actively take part in this plan.
