Bonding and sharing Tet

In the enthusiastic atmosphere of welcoming the Lunar New Year 2024 and commemorating the CPV's founding day (February 3), youth organizations at all levels in the province have actively engaged in activities to nurture love for the homeland, evoke national pride, foster unity and preserve the beauty of traditional Tet.

Tet of reunion

At the Cay Dau Park in Di An city, the "Unity in Spring - Sharing Tet" youth festival was recently held with the participation of a large number of youth members from 7 wards, as well as youth organizations from city agencies and schools, enthusiastically competing in making traditional Tet candies, tug-of-war, cultural exchanges, decorating Tet trays, and meticulously arranging vibrant golden and fresh apricot blossoms. The festival was truly vibrant as there were many youth union members joining in the joyous celebration of the country's spring.

The Di An Youth Union presents gifts to disadvantaged workers at the youth festival program of "Unity in Spring – Sharing Tet".

The youth organizations at all levels also organize a variety of cultural activities during the traditional Tet holiday, contributing to creating a joyful atmosphere among each young member. Through these activities, the spirit of unity, friendship, and the development of a healthy lifestyle in each individual youth member are enhanced, as well as the promotion of youth movements. With that significance, this year, the Youth Union has expanded the participation of young people from grassroots to districts and towns to enhance attraction and gather youth. In addition to the youth union at the commune, ward, and town level, the Youth Union also gathers youth union members in schools, regular education centers - vocational education, teachers in charge of the Youth Union, officials of the unity project, and young workers.

In the spring of 2024, the youth organizations have made progress in enriching the spring festivals for young members and young workers. In addition to decorating apricot and peach blossoms, displaying trays of five fruits for the Lunar New Year, and organizing cultural performances, the youth organizations have also implemented "New Year's feast" activities, traditional folk games, and integrated various skills for the youth, as well as outdoor activities. Many Youth Union units also organize the decoration of photo shooting areas on Tet day, which is loved by many young people; at the same time, they give gifts to congratulate the new year to Youth Union facilities and affiliated units.

The Lunar New Year celebrations provide young members of the youth union and young workers with opportunities to cultivate team spirit, communication skills, creativity, and a strong work ethic. It also offers a healthy and meaningful environment for entertainment. Through these activities, the Youth Union aims to promote the proactive and voluntary spirit of its members, both young individuals and young workers, in contributing to the development of our homeland, making it increasingly prosperous, beautiful, civilized, and full of compassion.

The chemistry of young workers

The new feature in the traditional Tet activities of the grassroots youth organization in 2024 is to promote the bond between local youth and young workers who are far from home. On the youth festival of "Unity in Spring - Sharing Tet" in 2024, the Di An Youth Union has provided essential supplies to young workers who are facing difficulties and are members of the young workers' unions in rented accommodations. Young workers were delighted to participate in the festival and immerse themselves in the activities organized by the Youth Union. They will develop a fondness for and actively engage in the movement within the workers' youth hostel branch.

Typically, the Youth Union of Bac Tan Uyen District has organized a youth union celebration called "Celebrating the CPV - Celebrating the Spring," with the participation of numerous young workers. These days, the district-level youth union is focusing on enhancing its organizational capacity and youth movements during the traditional Tet holiday in 2024. At the Office of Neighborhood 1 (in Tan Binh town), the Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Union of the town recently organized a youth union festival and the program "Tet Day Feast" for youth union members, young workers, and young people of ethnic and religious groups. The festival created a joyful atmosphere and strengthened the bond between youth union members and young workers, contributing to the promotion of unity and the participation of young people in union activities.

The model of festivals organized by the Youth Union at the provincial level will motivate young members and young workers to strive in labor and study; build a beautiful and meaningful lifestyle and actively participate in youth movements.
