Democratic regime in grassroots summed up

August 3, the Steering Board of Democratic Regime Implementation in grassroots held its meeting to sum up activities in the first 6 months of 2012 and launch plans for the last 6 months of the year. Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Phu Binh, Deputy Director of Department of Mass Mobilisation Activity in State’s Agencies under Central Department of Mass Mobilisation, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Liem, Member of Public Affairs, cum Head of local Party Committee’s Mass Mobilisation, and Mr. Huynh Van Nhi, Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee.The meeting was mainly on limitations and measures to implement democratic regime in the grassroots in the last 6 months of the year. Delegates affirmed that democratic implementations in wards and townlets have been on gear. The implementation of government’s Decree No. 87/2007/ND-CP has earned great achievements but enterprises are not well-awared.Addressing the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Liem assumed that democratic regime should be maintained in State’s agencies with good implementation of Conclusion No. 65-KL/TW of the Secretariat on “continue to implement Directive No. 30 of the 8th tenure Politburo on constructing and implementing democratic regime in the grassroots and Plan No. 54 of local Party Committee on implementing Conclusion No. 65 of the Secretariat in combination with communication, mobilisation, and good practices in enterprises.Reported by Ho Van – Translated by Vi Bao
