Development plan on digital economy and digital society implemented

Provincial People's Committee has just planned to implement the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 411/QD-TTg dated March 31, 2022 on the National Strategy for developing the digital economy and digital society until 2025, with a vision to 2030.

The purpose of the plan is to organize and effectively implement tasks and solutions in the Decision 411/QD-TTg on the National Strategy for developing the digital economy and digital society until 2025, with an orientation to 2030 in the province, ensuring compliance with the local actual conditions, thereby creating a strong change in the awareness and actions of leaders at all-level authorities, sectors, fields, officials, civil servants, public employees, members of mass organizations and workers of agencies and socio-political organizations, and businesses across the province to promote the development of digital economy and digital society. In the period of 2023-2030, the plan determines to strive to complete the targets for developing the digital economy and digital society in the province under the regulations and instructions of relevant ministries and sectors. By 2025, the proportion of digital economy will reach 20% of GRDP. The proportion of digital economy in each industry and field will gain at least 10%. The proportion of e-commerce in total retail sales revenue will obtain over 10%. The rate of enterprises using electronic contracts will reach over 80%. The rate of small and medium-sized enterprises using digital platforms will get over 50%.

Provincial People's Committee has required departments, sectors, districts, towns and cities to fully and specifically identify tasks that need to be implemented under the Decision 411/QDTTg; set up plans associated with synchronous and comprehensive tasks and solutions, ensuring feasibility in association with the implementation of the local economic, cultural and social development, in accordance with the local general conditions …
