Ensuring socio-economic development plan in 2024

On the afternoon of January 19, Vo Van Minh, Chairman of provincial People's Committee chaired the 53rd session of provincial People's Committee to approve plans on socio-economic development. The session was attended by Nguyen Van Danh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee and leaders of sectors and localities.

At the session, leaders of provincial Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Construction, Department of Finance, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Home Affairs presented drafts and reports, including the draft plan on the implementation of the Government’s Resolution No.01/NQCP on main tasks and solutions to implement the socio-economic development plan and State budget estimates for 2024; the draft plan to implement the Government’s Resolution No. 02/NQ-CP on tasks and solutions to improve the business environment and enhance competitiveness; the pre-feasibility study report on the memorial site project for Junior Doctor Deputy Nguyen Sinh Sac; the adjustment of the pre-feasibility study report of the investment project to build Ho Chi Minh city’s belt road  4 at the section from Thu Bien bridge - Saigon river under the public-private partnership method; the draft decision on the announcement of the unit prices for installation, repair and maintenance of construction works, machinery and equipment items; the report on the result of reviewing and proposing fees and charges for performing online public services; the report on land price plan to calculate financial obligations; the content of arrangement of public service units in the province...

Speaking at the session, Mr.Minh requested relevant departments and sectors to edit some contents based on opinions from sectors and localities. Regarding the plan to implement the Government’s Resolution No.01 and Resolution No.02, he requested members of provincial People's Committee to further contribute opinions to provincial Department of Planning and Investment to complete the content in order to submit it to provincial People's Council next week, ensuring the local plan on socio-economic development in 2024.
