Early August 14, leaders of Ben Cat city continued the “morning coffee” model with businesses, aiming at listening to aspirations and feelings of residents and businesses in the area in order to promptly address obstacles. The event was attended by Bui Minh Thanh, Secretary of Ben Cat city’s Party Committee; Ong Thuy Hoang Mai, Vice Chairwoman of provincial Labor Union along with leaders of various departments, agencies, localities and more than 60 business owners in the city.

Through this, leaders of the city and departments listened to the local people and enterprises’ aspirations and feelings. The local enterprises raised many issues regarding land parcel separation, construction and requested to benefit from policies allowing delayed tax payments as stipulated so that the tax money could be reinvested in production. Many roads in the city currently lack a wastewater drainage system, leading some businesses to be unable to connect to it; accessing bank loans is also challenging. The local enterprises also wish to invest in electric vehicle charging and battery replacement stations in the belt road 4 area. There are no medium-voltage power lines in that area, so the local enterprises hope to join hands with the electricity sector to invest in medium-voltage power lines.

Leaders of the city and relevant departments responded to petitions within their jurisdiction. For issues beyond their authority, they compiled them and will submit them to relevant departments, agencies and provincial People's Committee in the coming time to create favorable conditions for residents and businesses to feel secure in producing and developing the local economy.
