The provincial administration yesterday held the 80th anniversary of the National Front for the Reunification of Viet Nam (Nov. 18, 1930-2010). Addressing the anniversary, the provincial People’s Council chairman Vu Minh Sang lauded all level agencies, units, businesses, fatherland fronts and people for their contributions to the local success. On the occasion, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations granted insignias “For Peace and Friendship among nations” to 6 individuals whilst the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee presented insignias “For the cause of national great unity” to 85 individuals for their contributions to the national great unity over years.

Earlier, the delegation of provincial leaders and reps of mass bodies, public security and so on paid a tribute to the local Martyrs’ Cemetery.
Also the same day, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded prizes for excellent workgroups and individuals of the contest of “learning about the National Front for the Reunification of Viet Nam in the period of 1930-2010”. The first prize for team went to Di An district Fatherland Front Committee and first prize for individual went to Dinh Duy Bang, a unionist of Phu Giao district Bureau of Judgment Execution.
In addition, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee offered merit certificates to 4 collectives done excellent achievements in mobilizing for the contest. They included local Labor Union, Women Union, Youth Union and Veteran’s Society.
