Japanese senior delegation pays a working visit to the province

Early October 10, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Cung and leaders of departments had a meeting with senior Japanese delegation led by Mr. Hata Yuichiro - Minister of Land Management, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan on their working visit to the province.  Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Chairman Le Thanh Cung and Mr. Hata Yuichiro are at the reception At the meeting, Chairman Le Thanh Cung welcomed the delegation to Binh Duong and informed the delegation and ministers about some features of the development and investment environment of the province including Japanese effective investment into the province. He also said the province strongly growing field of urban infrastructure which is the center of Binh Duong New City project will go into operation in 2014. In this new city, many ongoing projects are promising for new development, including the highly appreciated project of Tokyu-Binh Duong Urban Area as the cooperation of Tokyu Corporation of Japan with Becamex IDC. The Chairman asserted that this time visit of the delegation to Binh Duong would be the driving force to make the project of Tokyu-Binh Duong Urban Area be flourished even more in the future. Meanwhile, he pressed on gratitude of the province and commit to create the most favorable conditions for the development of ecological urban projects that Japan is helping Binh Duong province through researches and sharing of experiences as well as personnel training in the field of urban development in this direction. Speaking at the meeting, Minister Hata Yuichiro expressed the impression with the development of Binh Duong on transportation systems and infrastructure.The minister informed that the Ministry is verily supporting the joint venture between Tokyu and Becamex IDC to develop the urban catalyst in the future. He also informed that Vietnam is heading towards urban environment-friendly development that the Ministry has been supporting. And, Binh Duong Province was chosen as the starting place. In addition to technical support, Japan would also support human resources for ecological urban projects in Binh Duong province in particular and Vietnam in general to develop in a faster, effective manner.
