On January 9, Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, had a meeting with Jesper Hassellund Mikkelsen, Senior Vice President, in charge of production activities of the LEGO Group in Asia-Pacific region; Preben Elnef, Vice President and General Director of LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam; and members of the working group.

At the meeting, Jesper Hassellund Mikkelsen announced the construction progress of the LEGO factory in Binh Duong, and thanked provincial leaders, departments and agencies for creating favorable conditions for the factory construction at VSIP 3, so far the project has been completed on schedule. The project will use renewable energy, solar energy and emissions that meet international standards, thus it will have a very positive impact on the environment and ecosystem. The LEGO factory in Binh Duong is expected to go into trial operation at the end of 2024 and will hold an inauguration ceremony and officially go into operation in early 2025.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Vo Van Minh congratulated LEGO Group, and said that the province is committed to creating conditions and supporting the LEGO Group to speed up progress, especially coordination with Central agencies, ministries, and branches in acceptance work so that the factory is eligible to start operation soon. Minh also hopes that, with the existing clean land fund, LEGO Group would continue to develop the LEGO Land project in Binh Duong in the near future...
