On September 15, Lego Group held a ceremony to complete its commitment to plant 50,000 trees at the new Lego Factory located in Binh Duong. The event had the participation of Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai; Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial National Assembly delegation; Nguyen Van Danh, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Nicolai Pritz, Danish Ambassador to Vietnam.

Danh claimed that Lego Group conveys a very important message for everyone to understand the responsibility and join hands to protect the environment and natural resources in the process of socio-economic development; create an environment and conditions so that everyone can live in fresh air; more importantly, for future generations to have a better and more sustainable living and working environment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai appreciated Lego Group for actively responding to the movement of Binh Duong province and setting a goal of planting 50,000 trees in two years 2022-2023 to replace the number of trees that were cleared to create space for projects. The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that, along with the use of renewable energy in production, opening up the "green investment" trend in Vietnam, the Lego Group's tree planting campaign is a convincing demonstration of sustainable development and social development thinking of a leading Danish enterprise, contributing to protecting the health of local people.
