The provincial journalists society yesterday held its 5th congress, 2011-2015 tenure with the participation of the provincial People’s Council chairman Vu Minh Sang, Vietnam Journalists Association Pham Quoc Toan and officials and members. The congress introduced the new term’s 11-member executive board. Nguyen Quang Hiep, vice director of Binh Duong Television and Radio Station is re-elected as chairman of the society.

The congress ratified action plans for the new term and strived to facilitate members’ development. Sang highly valued the society’s positive activities and asking that the society should improve shortcomings in management. Besides, the new executive board should take advantage all level units’ support to reinforce its structure and launch activities.
