Local youths bound for flood victims in Central region

Front Committee to help flood victims.

Local youths and unionists have positively helped flood victims in Central region by launching collections. Viet Nam My Thanh Ltd’s youths and unionists held a collection to help the flood victims. Small change and pennies, sent to the provincial Fatherland Front Committee on Oct. 22, showed solidarity spirit of the company youths and unionists. Truong Van Cuong, chairman of the company trade union, said through mass media, the company youths and unionists positively contributed to help flood victims in central region.

Over the few days, collections for flood victims took place across local companies. In Thuan An district, many businesses rapidly urged their workers to join in collections. Truong Van Khanh of the district Youth Union, said local young people have joined in the collections positively. Meanwhile, in Ben Cat district, the district youth union secretary Bui Duc Huy, said the unit launched a collection to its affiliates. At present, youths and unionists of companies have responded the collections positively.

Pham Minh Chau from the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, said many youths and unionists sent significant gift packages to the committee to help flood victims. Especially, students of 12TH01 class under Binh Duong University sent to the committee a gift package packed thoroughly. Through the gift, they want to share difficulties with flood victims.
