Looking towards privileged families

Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee visit provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery and organize a get-together to mark the 65th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyr’s Day today, July 26. Delegations of provincial leaders have visited and presented gifts to social policy beneficiary families across the province.

Good care

Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee together with sectors and localities in the province visited, presented gifts plus essential interior decoration items, including altars, beds, televisions…, to social policy beneficiary families in the last few days.

A delegation of provincial leaders, led by provincial Party Committee Permanent Deputy Secretary cum provincial People’s Council Chairman Vu Minh Sang visited and presented gifts to social policy beneficiary families in TDM city on the morning of July 24. On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Sang acknowledged the contributions of the local social policy beneficiary families for national independence and freedom.

In a bid to take care of social policy beneficiary families’ spiritual and material lives, the province spent more than VND70bln on upgrading martyrs’ cemeteries across the province. Ninh Quoc Binh, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that the whole province over time donated 52 gratitude houses and upgraded 153 others with a total expense of more than VND9bln; visited and presented gifts worth more than VND11bln for more than 20,500 social policy beneficiary families…

The province also provided Vietnamese heroic mothers, the families of war invalids and martyrs with tours to Ha Noi, Phu Quoc, Con Dao…; extracted over VND10bln from State budget to organize activities marking the 65th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day…

Possibly speaking, taking care of social policy beneficiary families has upheld the moral principle of “When drinking water, remember its source” to all families across the province.

Gift visits on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day have made the local social policy beneficiary families feel more warm.

At the house of war invalid Ho Hong Chau in An Son commune’s An Phu hamlet, leaders of Thuan An town and An Son commune not only extended their best regards to the war invalid, but also tended his garden and listened to the elders’ glorious feats of arms on Thuan An Hoa war base from him.

In a visit to the family of Dinh Van Be, the farther of a martyr in An Son commune’s An My hamlet, many cadres and pupils were heard stories about his family with five martyrs who laid down their lives for national independence and freedom. Be promises to further tell the glorious stories of his elders to educate young generations about patriotic traditions…
