The People’s Council of Minh Tan commune in Dau Tieng district has just forwarded its 5th session to approve the local project on new rural construction in the 2012-2015 period and orientations till 2020.

Reportedly, Minh Tan has so far reached 9 out of 19 criteria on new rural construction and the remaining criteria will be fulfilled by 2015. Total investment capital for the local criteria on new rural construction till 2020 is estimated at nearly VND500bln.

It is known that Minh Tan is among the province’s 17 pilot communes for the new rural construction program till 2012 and orientations towards 2020. Hence, Minh Tan commune’s Party Committee and People’s Committee have made efforts to build up the commune’s program on new rural construction that is in line with development of the commune, contributing to reshaping the local rural image and improving the livelihood of the local people.
