Minh Thanh is one of Dau Tieng district’s key communes selected for implementation of the Politburo’s Direction No.3 on further promoting the campaign “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals”.  Cadres, Party members and people in the commune have actively responded to the direction, contributing to well realizing the local political tasks.

Bui Thanh Hai, Vice-Secretary of Minh Thanh communal Party Committee said that cadres, Party members and people in the commune have expressed their determination to promote the local socio-economic development. Cadres, Party members and civil servants herein have made positive changes about working manner. Most of them have practiced thrift in terms of electricity, water, office supplies …

Noticeably, many exemplary role-models have  been discovered from the campaign “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals”. Well-off households herein have also shared efforts with the local authorities in offering help to poor ones and engaging in activities of “Paying debt of gratitude”. Upon this, the local authorities have taken good care of poor and policy beneficiary households’ spiritual and material lives.

Le Van Muoi, Chairman of Minh Thanh communal People’s Committee said that the local socio-economic performance has over time reaped much progress in all aspects. The average income per capita of the local people in 2012 is estimated at more than VND26.3mln. Currently, the whole commune only exists 49 poor households or 2.12% of total. The commune will further strive to reduce the number of the local poor households to 1% by 2015 under the Resolution set out by the commune’s Party congress for the 2011 and 2015 tenure.

Possibly speaking, the campaign “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” has initially raised awareness and responsibility of the local cadres, Party members and people; aroused the good moral tradition of Vietnamese people…The results of the campaign herein have contributed to promoting socio-economic development, maintaining national security and ensuring people’s lives.

According to Mr.Hai, the campaign “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” needs to further receive enthusiastic response from cadres, Party members and people from all walks of life for better results…
