Early Dec.14, provincial Retired Cadres’ Club held a get-together to mark its 25th founding anniversary, in attendance of Mai The Trung-Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee.

Participants reviewed the traditions of the club over the past 25 years. The club now has 8 sub-committees with nearly 1,100 members. In addition to cultural activities, members of the club over time offered help to each other. The club visited and presented gifts to 885 turns of ill members with a total expense of nearly VND38mln; brought offerings of more than VND27mln to deceased members…

On this occasion, provincial Retired Cadres’ Club and Huynh Binh Minh, head of the club were also awarded the Government’s certificates of merit for their excellent performance in 2012 (photo).
