The province’s youth tasks and children movements drew the participation of many youths over the past five years, actively contributing to realizing the local targets in socio-economic development. Under the leadership of the Party, provincial Youth Union gained positive results and was recognized as an excellent unit for many consecutive years. Noticeably, it was recognized as an excellent unit in all aspects in the Southeastern region last year and was proposed to be awarded the first-class Labor Medal.
Political thought education
Provincial Youth Unions at all levels well realized political thought education among the local youths over the past five years. Particularly, they opened 3 classes on the resolutions of the Party and Youth Union with the participation of 507,926 local youths; organized 615 contests about Uncle Ho’s life and revolutionary career with the participation of more than 800,000 local youths…

The quality of the local Youth Union branches and officials was gradually improved. Currently, provincial Youth Union includes five administrative units (Voluntary Youths’ Team, Youth Job Center, Youth Activities Center, Cultural House for Children, Support Center for Young Laborers) and 19 Youth Unions with 389 branches with 85,848 members…
Volunteer in aspects
Provincial Youth Unions at all levels promoted the movement of “Youths’ creativeness”, making many effective initiatives for the local youths. The local youths also actively got involved in significant activities for the sake of public welfare.

Noticeably, they and the local Bank for Social Policies considered and provided more than VND84.7bln in loan for 7,952 pupils and students; gave support on vocational training and employment for more than 15,000 youths; provided free medical check-ups and medicine for 9,785 poor people and young workers at lodging facilities; handed over 16 gratitude houses worth VND380mln to privileged families…
