On August 26, provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients, in collaboration with sponsors and local authorities, organized a program awarding scholarships to disadvantaged students for the 2024-2025 school year.
In Thu Dau Mot city, the program awarded scholarships worth VND 1million to 50 primary and secondary school students and 25 scholarships worth VND 2 million each to students at the Vietnam - Korea Binh Duong College. In Tan Uyen city, North Tan Uyen district and Phu Giao district, the program awarded scholarships to 100 students worth VND1million each.
These scholarships awarded in this round were funded by the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade (Vietcombank) - East Binh Duong branch, with a total value of VND 400 million. The program reflected the care and support of provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients, sponsors and local authorities for disadvantaged students in the threshole of the new school year, encouraging them to rise up in their studies.
On this occasion, provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients also donated 100 gifts and 200kg of rice to disadvantaged residents in Phu Giao district.
