To motivate and empower children living in difficult circumstances to continue going to school, on December 25, Vietnam Journalists Association - Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with Binh Duong Provincial Association of Journalists, Phu Giao district Education Promotion Association, and Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) organized the awarding of scholarships to students having difficult circumstances in Phu Giao district. Le Huu Phuoc, Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial Journalists Association, and representatives of Agribank and Phu Giao district attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee awarded 50 scholarships to disadvantaged students from elementary to high school in Phu Giao district, each worth 2 million VND. Total cost of the scholarships award was 100 million VND, sponsored by Vietnam Journalists Association - Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City and Agribank.
Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Le Huu Phuoc, Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial Journalists Association, sent his sincere thanks to the attention of the Vietnam Journalists Association - Southern Representative Office and Agribank for their support for the scholarship awarding ceremony. Hopefully in the coming time, Binh Duong will always receive the companionship of the Vietnam Journalists Association and benefactors to help poor children going to school. The students receiving scholarships today will continue to study well and become useful citizens for society.
