Following heroic tradition

Tan My was a vital place of the D base with many glorious feats of arms during the two resistance wars against the French colonialists and the US imperialists.

Huynh Tu, 67, a revolutionary veteran in Tan My commune’s hamlet 3 proudly told that in 1946, the heroic land’s people and army made a great victory when defeating 59 army trucks of the enemy, confiscating guns and seizing two French soldiers. Late 1952,  a regiment of the enemy together with a food-carrying truck in Vinh Cuu was also destroyed by the local people and army…

Following the heroic tradition of the elders, generations today have constantly built and developed a prosperous and beautiful Tan My.
