The 8th session of 12th Assembly starts today

The 8th session of the 12th National Assembly starts today on October 20 in meeting hall of Defense Ministry in Hanoi and is expected to last over one month.

 

In this time’s session, the NA will consider and approve 9 draft laws, 1 NA resolution, and contribute ideas to 9 draft laws.

 

Being put into consideration was issues of socio-economics, supreme inspection and important decision making, listening to and discussion about results of socio-economic duty in 2010 with plan for 2011, 2010 budget estimation and allocation for 2011, reports of People’s Supreme Court and Procuracy on law enforcement and crime prevention, reports on national focal construction of Dung Quat Refinery, reports on improving efficient use of capital and assets of economic groups and state-own parent companies, and reports on activities of Vinashin. NA will also listen to and discuss about reports of the government summing up first step of People’s Council organization in districts and wards as well as general report on ideas collected from voters from the 7th session to this 8th session.
