Implementing Directive No. 10/CT-TW of Secretariat of Central Committee of CPV on improving party cell operations, Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee has promoted active and in form operations. Provincial Party Committee’s Inspecting Team led by Mr. Nguyen Phuc Lam, Member of Public Affairs, Head of Provincial Party Committee’s Organization proceeds with check-ups regarding implementing Directive No. 10/CT-TW Thu Dau Mot City Party Cell currently has 37 sub-committees (of which, 250 cells belong to 21 sub-committees) with 4,500 members. Implementing Plan No. 19/KH-TU dated June 13, 2007 of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee on “implementing the Directive No. 10/CT-TW of Secretariat of Central Committee of CPV on improving party cell operations”, the activities of the Party in Thu Dau Mot City have been improved.Regular meetings have been maintained with participation at 80-97% of Party members. The agenda of the meetings has been diversified to reality with major tasks for each cell and sub-committee. Main operations have been integrated into learning and following Ho Chi Minh moral examples, especially in administrative and professional agencies and the armed forces. Besides, seminars have also been held on leadership and power of the organization and members.As for organization in residential areas and hamlets, the activities have been transformed with rich information about resolutions and news regarding leadership of the Party as well as critique and self-critique movements.For the time to come, operations and activities of the party cells and sub-committees should be improved. As asserted by Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee’s standing affairs, the operations and activities have not been so focused as required by the Central Organizing Committee. In the meantime, seminars have been rarely organized in a bid to improve awareness and responsibilities of the members.Speaking about this, Mr. Lam Phi Hung, Secretary of Phu Cuong Ward Party Sub-committee shared that the implementation has been in good shape; however, quality of operations and activities should be further improved.Reported by Thu Thao – Translated by Vi Bao
