The two-day event (December 15–16) drew the participation of 12 communist party delegations representing Brazil, Cuba, Vietnam, China, India, Lebanon, Portugal, Greece, Ukraine, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Moravia.
They discussed communist party operations in their respective countries, the region, and the world at large, highlighting the problems facing international communist movements.
Ky’s report touched upon the operations of the CPV, a ruling party continuing to consolidate, develop, and create new opportunities despite the current challenging context.
The CPV and Vietnamese people will spare no efforts to accelerate the Doi Moi (Renewal) process and strive for greater achievements ushering the country along the path of socialist construction. The CPV wants to make practical contributions to developing international communist movements for the sake of peace, national independence, democracy, and social progress all over the world, Ky said.
