“Year of Youth 2011” is officially started today with a series of key and impressive activities to be taken place in the first days of a new year. Accordingly, one of programs take place in parallel with the campaign will be the movement for poor youths, being considered as a breakthrough in caring for youths.

Significant programs

With the goal for poor youths, local youths, excellent-but-poor students, poor communes and households, needy young workers will be paid much attention in the year of youth. Accordingly, disadvantaged youngsters will enjoy supportive policies of housing, occupation initiated by local Youth Union. Besides, a series of programs such as building charity houses, offering health check up and medicines for poor households and so on will be held by all level mass bodies.

Youths plant green trees for environment.

The year of 2011 will have at least 20 delegations of doctors and physicians offering free health check up and medicines for the poor, of volunteer youths building charity houses, granting 20 scholarships to excellent-but-poor students, helping 175 poor youths make business and so on.

These useful deeds will surely create a new breath of air for activities for youths, helping them escape poverty and contributing to local overall development. However, to complete the goals, it is necessary to have contributions from social community.

For development of youth

Youth is a labor force filled with enthusiasm and vitality. Education and practice of morality and lifestyle should be focused on the young force. Aside from assistances for youths, offering favorable conditions for their dedication is also a crucial factor. Therefore, Year of Youth 2011 will be attached to volunteer activities for the community. They include activities themed “Youths for national border”, “Youths for green-clean-beautiful environment” and among others.

There will be a series of action plans for local youths to join in. supportive forms of granting gifts, saving books, clothes, learning aids to poor students, disabled kids will be launched.

Year of Youth 2011 will surely make significant mark for youths and community.
