Youth union members across the country are organising a variety of activities to mark the 80th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26).

An exhibition opened at Lam Son Park in Ho Chi Minh City on March 22 to display more than 100 photographs highlighting the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union over the past 80 years.

The exhibition focuses on young people’s movements against foreign aggressors in the past as well as their achievements during the country’s current renewal process.

The same day, a similar exhibition called “Ho Chi Minh City vanguard force – 35 years of establishment and development”, showcasing nearly 200 photographs and posters, was also held at the city’s Chi Lang Park.

On the occasion, the Quang Ngai provincial Youth Union held a meeting to honour youth union officials and members who have made great contributions to the development of Quang Ngai province and the nation.
