The provincial Party Committee yesterday held the 4th provincial party committee congress to ratify reports on local socio-economy, national defense in the 1st quarter of 2011 and set out key tasks for the 2nd quarter.

The provincial party committee secretary Mai The Trung steered the 4th provincial party committee congress.  

The provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung said that in the 1st quarter local situation remained difficulties but its economy maintained a positive stability with a 13.4% increase of local GDP. Implementing Resolution No.02 and No.11 on curbing inflation, stabilizing macro-economy and ensuring social welfare, the locality focused on increasing 29% in credit capital mobilization, ensuring a 20% growth of credit outstanding loan, surging 24% of budget collection, cutting 10% of budget investment, launching policies of tax exemption and decrease, meeting businesses and laborers to solve difficulties of business and production.

Addressing the congress, the provincial party committee secretary Mai The Trung asked to curb inflation, stabilize macro-economy and stabilize social welfare and build action plans of implementing the 11th national party congress’ resolution and the 9th provincial party congress’ resolution.
