The 5th Congress of Binh Duong provincial Journalists’ Association officially opens today, March 4.

 At the conference, representatives of the association’s affiliates will deliver speeches to make contributions to the press activities of the province in the coming time. The congress will also announce the list of members of the association’s 5th executive board for the 2011-2015 tenure and approve the resolutions of the congress.

 The preparatory session for the congress, which was organized on the morning of March 3, also elected the presidium and secretariat of the congress; approved the report of the 4th executive board of the association and the working regulations of the congress; nominate the new executive board of the association.

 At the preparatory session, veteran journalists Nguyen Trung Hieu, former chairman of provincial Journalists’ Association and Le Ba Muoi, former permanent correspondent of the Nhan Dan (People’s) newspaper in Binh Duong contributed important ideas to the operational process of the association in the coming time.
