On October 19, Mai Hung Dung, Member of Binh Duong provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee received and worked with Sonia Bonfiglioli, President of Bonfiglioli Group (Italy) to pay a courtesy visit to the province.

At the meeting, Mai Hung Dung asserted that Binh Duong as one of the leading provinces and cities in the country in attracting foreign direct investment accommodates Italy as the 29th among 65 countries and territories with investment projects in Binh Duong regarding 8 projects of total capital of nearly USD 64 million.

Mai Hung Dung also noted that Bonfiglioli Group with focuses on investing in applying modern technology to production as well as linking activities between businesses and universities to improve the quality of human resources and develop human resources for sustainable development of both businesses and localities would, therefore, accompanied in the process of production and business activities in the province.

Sonia Bonfiglioli thanked the Binh Duong provincial authority for always accompanying and supporting Bonfiglioli Vietnam Company (specializing in manufacturing and assembling highly energy-saving electric motors) in My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park of Ben Cat town. Sonia Bonfiglioli said that the company is planning to invest in automation technology and continue training to improve human resource qualifications to produce high-tech products, bringing high added value in Vietnam for export. On the Bonfiglioli Group's side, they hoped that the provincial leaders and functional agencies would continue to support and create favorable conditions for Bonfiglioli Vietnam Company to operate.
