On October 17, Binh Duong Power Company (PCBD) informed that it had checked and put into operation the 110kV Phu Giao - 220kV Uyen Hung station.

The project uses loans from the German Reconstruction Bank (KfW) and counterpart loans from EVNSPC with a total initial design investment of nearly VND93 billion. The project contributes to improving the reliability and flexibility of power supply for the 110/22kV Phu Giao, Dong Xoai, Vedan 2 and Phuoc Long substations.

In addition, the project also transmits power from the 220/110kV Uyen Hung substation to the 110/22kV Cong Xanh, Tan Hiep, Binh My and Phuoc Hoa substations.
