Binh Duong should have incentive policy for rural industries’ development

This statement was set out by vice minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Luong Le Phuong at a working session with Binh Duong provincial administration on local rural craft villages’ development.

Reportedly, the locality now has 32 craft villages with 45,755 workshops relating to rural industries offering jobs for 103,182 laborers. The total turnover of rural industries has reached over VND4,800bil with the export revenue of US$72mil.

At present, hike price of input materials and shortage of skilled manpower have caused difficulties for the development of the rural industries.

According to the vice minister, the province should have incentive policy for rural industries’ development to improve value of products and boost up the industries’ operation…
