On February 1, Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and other departments and branches to hold "Zero Dong Market" and give "Tet of Kindness" gifts to workers, people having difficult circumstances, and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in the province.
Nguyen Van Loi, Member of Binh Duong Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front; Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee; Nguyen Thi My Hang, Chairwoman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, attended the ceremony.
Provincial Red Cross Association in collaboration with Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented gifts to 400 victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, workers, and disadvantaged people in the province. Each gift included cash and Tet products worth 1.5 million VND. Total cost of the program was more than 600 million VND.
Speaking at the program, Nhan said that to prepare for the 2024 Lunar New Year, the entire political system of the province has been proactively implementing social security policies; taking good care of people's lives to ensure every home and everyone has the conditions to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet.
