Export industry secures stable and sustainable development

Binh Duong has consistently worked to create a favorable business environment, streamline administrative procedures, and assist businesses in accessing preferential loans. Along with that, enterprises in the province focus on applying high technology and environmental friendliness in production activities... This is a solid foundation for the province's export industry to develop stably and sustainably.

 Focus on technological innovation

Ms. Hoang Yen, the Director of Rolchdale Spears Company in Tan Uyen City, emphasizes that, when producing export wood products, businesses must adapt to market fluctuations. Additionally, technological innovation and implementing green and sustainable production development plans are crucial for success. In recent times, with the support of all competent levels and sectors, the company has invested in new technology in production, built flexible plans to quickly adapt to the export market, ensuring the company's stable development and, in the immediate future, completing the 2024 plan.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghia, Chairman of Dai Thien Loc Joint Stock Company (Thu Dau Mot City), also emphasized the importance of technological innovation to meet market demands and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. Mr. Nghia said the company is renovating and investing in new technology in steel production.

Enterprises in the province are currently investing in new technological lines to meet importer requirements. For example, recently U&I Logistics Joint Stock Company (Tan Uyen City) was honored to receive the certificate of completion of training program "Improving business capacity to adapt to green transformation requirements, reducing emissions and practicing greenhouse gas inventory" issued by the Department of Enterprise Development (Ministry of Planning and Investment) and the Vietnam Private Sector Competitiveness Enhancement Project (USAID IPSC). Committed to sustainable development, this certification verifies that U&I Logistics is continually enhancing its research capabilities to offer effective emission reduction solutions.

In addition to maintaining existing green standards, U&I Logistics will continue to build on the expertise gained from the USAID IPSC program, develop a long-term green transformation plan, and refine the sustainability strategy the company is pursuing. Namely, the company will specify green logistics solutions, including the application of advanced technology, the use of diverse renewable energy sources and the optimization of operating processes, contributing to building a sustainable future for businesses, the logistics industry and the community.

To accompany businesses

In light of the province's general development strategy, Mr. Nguyen Liem, Chairman of the Binh Duong Furniture Association, stated that approximately 80% of their 500 member businesses may need to relocate to align with the planning for the new period. Concentrating enterprises in industrial parks helps create a complete value chain, improving the competitiveness of the wood industry in Binh Duong province.

One of the fundamental solutions is to implement a bank-business connection program. Besides, the banking sector will continue to proactively coordinate with localities to meet, discuss, and promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles for businesses in providing capital."

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Toan, Director of the Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, stated that to assist enterprises in exporting their goods, the industry and trade sector will continue to support small and medium-sized enterprises. This support will come through various domestic and foreign trade promotion programs, the development of local products, and assistance with digital transformation initiatives. The industry and trade sector, along with functional agencies, trade offices, and Vietnamese embassies abroad, continuously work together to monitor and support businesses. They assist in researching markets and understanding changes in import requirements of various countries, enabling companies to develop the most effective and reasonable export plans. To stabilize the export market, every enterprise must produce quality and safe products with recognizable brands internationally. Only then can we secure orders and ensure stable, sustainable exports," Mr. Toan emphasized.

Mr. Vo Dinh Phong, Director of the State Bank of Vietnam - Binh Duong Branch, said that in the coming time, to increase credit growth, the branch will continue to direct credit institutions in the area to implement effective credit growth solutions along with quality control; disburse capital into production and prioritized sectors; and actively implement policies to remove difficulties for production and business...

On the tax side, the Binh Duong Provincial Tax Department committed to speeding up the process of VAT and import tax refund procedures, helping to reduce capital congestion for businesses.
