On the morning of January 26, provincial Department of Justice held a conference to summarize its activities in 2023, deploy orientations and tasks for 2024. Attending the conference was Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee.
In 2023, provincial Department of Justice and Divisions of Justice of districts, towns and cities in the province actively contributed to perfecting the province's institutions. Provincial Department of Justice was among the province’s top 4 departments and sectors in the 2022 Public Administrative Reform Index. In addition, the province’s judicial sector coordinated with the police sector to complete the targets and requirements of provincial Party Committee and People's Committee in implementing the Government’s Project No. 06/CP. The local activities on law dissemination and legal aid continued achieving good results...
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dung emphasized that in 2024 and the following years, the province's judicial sector needs to further promote its role in advising the People's Committee of the province, districts, towns and cities on improving the quality of law-making activities; continued strengthening digital transformation in activities of the judicial sector. Along with that, the province's judicial sector needs to continue well carrying out assigned tasks under the Government’s Project No.06/CP, with focus on effectively implementing online administrative procedure groups pertaining to the group of 25 essential public services for the people...
On this occasion, the Ministry of Justice awarded the medal "For the cause of justice" to individuals who have contributed greatly to the cause of building and developing the Vietnamese judiciary. The Minister of Justice awarded the certificates of merit to 2 groups and 2 individuals. Provincial People's Committee Chairman recognized 2 collectives as excellent ones in 2023, awarded the certificates of merit to 3 collectives and 7 individuals with achievements in implementing the Law on Judicial Expertise and the Project on “Further improving the efficiency of judicial appraisal activities" for the period of 2018-2023.
