Through specific models, practical work, and outstanding results, the Women's Union at all levels in the province has been and is a positive factor in implementing movements, campaigns, and contributing to the construction of a more civilized and modern homeland.
Hoang Cam road in Di An city is newly dressed up thanks to activities of Binh Thang ward association of women
The specific actions
During the recent holiday, those who traveled on Hoang Cam road in Trung Thang Ward, Binh Thang district, Di An city could not help but be amazed by the new dress that the Women's Association of the ward had just adorned on the old walls which were previously dark with moss and even with peeling paint and graffiti in the most ugliest way. Being aware of the responsibility in building a cultural and civilized way of life, the Women's Association of the ward had the idea of building a model of urban civilized space on this road.
On such idea, the association mobilized 50 members and honorary members to clean, sanitize, and paint the walls white to implement the "Urban Civilization Space" model on Hoang Cam road. It is known that the cleaning, sanitation, and construction work was carried out by the Women's Association of the ward in 6 days for a total length of 25 meters. The wall is divided into 6 sections, each corresponding to different propaganda contents mobilizing people to join hands in building a civilized and modern city.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diem, Chairwoman of the Women's Association of Binh Thang ward, said: "By this model, we hope to promote vibrant and authentic human communication in the construction of green, clean, and beautiful streets." The model also aims to enhance the role and responsibility awareness of officials, women members, and people in building a cultured and civilized lifestyle, contributing to the formation of cultural and civilized habits, consciousness, and behaviors. At the same time, the model also contributes to promoting and effectively implementing the campaign of "Building 5 Nos, 3 Clean Families" associated with the model of "5 Nos, 5 Possessions, 3 Clean" and the "5G" model in Binh Thang ward.
The Women's Association of Hiep An ward (Thu Dau Mot city) has just launched the model of "Waste is not waste" from which the local Women's Association provides trash bins to young workers in rented houses to collect and classify waste at their accommodations. Various types of plastic bottles and cans after being sorted, are collected by the youth unions and sold at the end of each month. The model aims to raise funds to support young female workers in difficult circumstances and maintain the effective operation of the youth unions of workers.
The core roleplay
The construction of a civilized urban lifestyle is gradually becoming the consciousness and practical action of officials, members, and women in the province. In order to have new models and effective methods, in recent times, the Provincial Women's Union has actively directed and guided all levels of unions to disseminate and raise awareness among officials, members, women of all classes, and their families in environmental protection and build ethical standards, healthy culture, contribute to building a civilized and cultured lifestyle, together with the locality to create an increasingly beautiful, clean, civilized, and modern urban and rural landscape.
In the coming time, the provincial Women's Association will continue to promote the achieved results, innovate and enhance the quality and effectiveness of propaganda methods, select and evaluate effective models, focus on quality to attract members, women, and people to actively participate in the campaign "Building 5 Nos, 3 Cleans" in association with building a cultural and civilized lifestyle in the province. |
To contribute to the successful implementation of Project 02 and the National Target Program on New Rural Construction and Sustainable Poverty Reduction, the Women's Union at all levels in the province continues to carry out the campaign "Building 5 Nos, 3 Cleans in Families, contributing to nurturing the values of Vietnamese families", which, according to the provincial Women's Association, is a comprehensive and profound campaign to have a strong impact on each member's family and women, bringing practical benefits to women themselves, families, and the community.
Through campaigns and competitions, women members from rural to urban areas in the province have become the backbone in environmental protection and the construction of civilized urban areas through practical models. The hands of these sisters have implemented hundreds of flower roads in various wards and communes; planting tens of thousands of green trees of all kinds in public places.
Along with widespread implementation and intensified propaganda, the associations at all levels also regularly organize campaigns to clean up sanitation, clear drains, remove illegal advertising banners, take care of and protect public trees, plant green trees, plant flowers to create urban green spaces; mobilize people to preserve and protect the environment, not to litter, hang the national flag on holidays and festivals. Prominent are the bright, green, clean, and beautiful roads in Thu Dau Mot city, Bac Tan Uyen district, Bau Bang district, Dau Tieng district, and 20 flower gardens in Di An city.
