PM Dung meets voters in Hai Phong

The Government and other centrally-run ministries and sectors will do their best to help the Party Committee, administration and people of Hai Phong to tap its potential and strengths to ensure the city will develop on a rapid and sustainable basis.

 The statement was made by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung during the meeting with local voters on March 31.

Mr Dung spoke highly of voter opinions and proposals and asked Hai Phong to implement effectively Government measures to control inflation, stabilise the macro economy, ensure social welfare, practice thrift, enhance administrative reform, combat corruption and maintain national defence.

PM Dung also called on Hai Phong to allocate all resources to develop infrastructure facilities, high-tech zones, aquaculture, urban areas and services relating to finance, banking, transport and tourism.

On the same day, Mr Dung inspected the implementation of Vietnam-Singapore industrial park.
