Binh Hoa ward in Thuan An town is a main locality because of having the complicated order and security. Besides, the rate of voters with temporary residence is very high. An election inspection delegation of the National Assembly (NA) and the province also made inspection tour of the ward’s preparations for the upcoming elections and gave contributing ideas to the ward’s Election Committee for better preparations.

 Prompt preparations for the upcoming elections

 Under Thuan An town Party Committee’s Directive No.05/CT-TU on directing the implementation of the elections of the 13th NA and the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2011 and 2016 tenure, Binh Hoa ward’s Party Committee is promptly preparing for the upcoming elections, according to Nguyen Van Quang, chairman of Binh Hoa ward People’s Committee cum chairman of the ward’s Election Committee

Binh Hoa ward’s Election Committee has so far arranged polling stations and established polling grups. It is expected that the whole ward has 25 polling groups, exclusive of the ward-based army units. Each group includes 15 members who will propagandize, mobilize and guild the local voters to cast their ballots for the elections and protect the success of the elections.

 According to statistics, Binh Hoa ward now has more than 94,000 people, including 8,827 with permanent residence. It is expected that the number of voters in the ward is 54,127. Binh Hoa ward has also set up three plans to ensure social order and security before, during and after the elections…

 Good leading of the elections needed

 The election inspection delegation of the NA and the province also contributed ideas for Binh Hoa ward to successfully lead the upcoming elections.

 Nguyen Ngoc Quang, deputy secretary of Thuan An town People’s Committee cum chairman of Thuan An town’s Election Committee said: “Binh Hoa ward’s Election Committee needs to recheck the number of workers at lodging facilities. Through lodging proprietors, the ward’s Election Committee may increase its work to ensure order and security and step up its propaganda activities for the elections…”.

 Whilst, Huynh Ngoc Son, vice-chairman of the NA said that Binh Hoa ward’s Election Committee needs to well realize its propaganda activities for the elections, especially in areas which are crowded with workers with temporary residence; set up plans to ensure order and safety before, during and after the elections…
