Late April 5, provincial People’s Committee Chairman Le Thanh Cung received Consul General of Thailand to HCM City, Somchai Powcharoen.

At the reception, Mr.Cung informed Mr.Somchai Powcharoen about the industrial infrastructure development of the province and the effective production-trading activities of province-based foreign businesses. There are now 20 Thai businesses in operation in Binh Duong with industries of paper production, fisheries, animal feed…with a total investment capital of US$307mln.

Mr.Somchai Powcharoen wanted that Binh Duong will further make the best favorable conditions for the development of Thai businesses. The Thai Consulate will also promote Thai businesses to make strong investment in fields of education-training, high-tech industry…into Binh Duong.
