Late November 17, permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, cum Chair of Provincial People’s Council, Mr. Vu Minh Sang attended people’s unity festival organized by people in Quarter 5 of Phu Loi Ward, Thu Dau Mot City. The association of women of the quarter has offered free-of-interest loans at over VND 10 million to its members, helping 24 households to escape poverty.
At the festival, permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, cum Chair of Provincial People’s Council, Mr. Vu Minh Sang expressed his joy for the achievements made and encouraged local people to be united in a bid to stabilize the economy and life hood.
On this occasion, the organization of the province has also awarded 3 collectives for their excellent achievements in the movement of building cultural life, to 12 model households while Fund for the poor offered 10 gift packages at VND 500,000 each to 10 households.
Early November 18, Mr. Tran Van Nam, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Chair of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Tran Van Nam attended people’s unity festival at Hamlet 5, Thuong Tan Commune of Tan Uyen District.
As reported, in 2012, activities of people’s unity have helped to build up clean and beautiful surroundings. 90% of local households have registered for collection and treating wastes.
Within the year, the mobilization board of the hamlet has duly implemented policies for social privileged households. The grassroots association and unions have created fund sources for members to engage into production and husbandry. Besides,through the seminar and agricultural promotion programs, local people have been encouraged to transfer into planting structure and breeds to get rich.
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Tran Van Nam expressed his joy for the achievements met and called upon local people to uphold tradition of the village and mutual supports.
On this occasion, the locality has awarded paper approving cultural titles to 17 3-year cultural households. Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also offered 10 gift packages to poor households at VND 500,000 each.

For the past time, local units have coordinated with Bank of Social Policies has offer VND 1.3 billion of loans to 89 households and CEP fund of VND 500 million to 48 households. Meantime 26 households have been entitled as cultural households. Provincial Fund for the Poor also offered 10 gift packages to 10 households at the cost of VND 500,000 each.
