Provincial People’s Council Delegates meet voters in Phu Giao and Thu Dau Mot
July 23, Mrs. Tran Thi Kim Van, Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Council and delegates of People’s Committee had a meeting with voters in Phuoc Hoa and Phuoc Vinh of Phu Giao District.At the meeting voters and the delegates listened to reports of the 4th session of the 8th tenure plenum of Provincial People’s Council and of the 4th session of the 3rd tenure plenum of district People’s Council. They also listened to reports on monitoring program of Provincial and district People’s Councils in the first 6 months of the year as well as status of economic duty, national defense and security.The voters reported and proposed as follows:- Public relation behavior of cadres and professional qualifications of nurses and doctors of Phu Giao District Hospital;- Stricter monitoring and punishments against production and sales of fakes and poor quality products;- Strict punishments and fines against overspeed heavy trucks on traffic roads threatening people’s life;- Improvement of lighting system;- Traffic accidents;- Planning, compensation and site clearance, and pending planning projects which are troubling local people and wasting the budget;- Quality of B.O.T roads and streets;- Expansion of radio broadcasting policies and guidelines of the Party and State;- Improvement of public investment monitoring for efficiency of capital construction, etc.The delegates listened to the reports and proposals of the voters and agreed to forward the inquiries to standing committees of local and provincial People’s Councils to resolve and reply as soon as possible.On the same day, delgate Nguyen Thanh Tai of Provincial People’s Council and delegates of Thu Dau Mot City People’s Committee had a meeting with voters in Phu Hoa Ward. At the meeting, the delegates listened to reports on socio-economic status in the first 6 months of 2012 and results of Thu Dau Mot Town People’s Council plenum.
