Chairman of provincial People’s Committee Le Thanh Cung made the instruction at a meeting to approve the project of “Localizing and limiting activities on mineral and underground water exploitation” held yesterday morning, March 15.

 Speaking at the meeting, Mr.Cung suggested the project’s consulting unit to have deliberation based on the local overall plan while pushing prohibition on exploiting and using underground water in Thuan An, Di An and TDM towns. He also instructed localities and relevant agencies to ensure the use of surface water at maximum level to limit underground water exploitation.
