Preparation for the elections of the 13th National Assembly and the People’s Committees at all levels in TDM town is running smoothly…

The People’s Committees of communes and wards in TDM town have defined the number of election units for the communal-level People’s Council. Accordingly, TDM town has 106 election units for the communal-level People’s Council. TDM town has also decided to set up 128 polling stations. In addition, provincial People’s Committee has approved the number of election units for the town-level People’s Council with 10 units

So far, TDM town’s Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have fulfilled the second round of consultation for the upcoming elections. The local functional agencies have also make plans to ensure security before, during and after the upcoming elections.

TDM town’s Election Committee has paid more attention to strengthening information dissemination about the upcoming elections. Currently, TDM town has 70 candidates for the town-level People’s Council election and 651 candidates for the communal/ward-level People’s Committee election.

As planned, TDM town will set up and announce 10 election boards for town-level People’s Committee at 10 election units before March 31. Wards and communes will establish an election board for each election unit before April 4 and then make public it on the mass media before April 7.

The People’s Committees of wards and communes will also set up an election group for the 13th NA and the People’s Councils at all levels at each polling station; further boost information dissemination about the upcoming elections to voters…
