According to Binh Duong Provincial Industrial Parks’ Management Board, in the first 9 months of 2024, IPs in the province leased 53.88 hectares of industrial land. Up to now, industrial parks in the province have subleased 7,080.76 hectares of industrial land, with an occupancy rate of 93.77%.
According to the Binh Duong Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister, the province is planned to have 48-50 industrial parks with a total planning area of 25,000 hectares. Of which, 29 industrial parks have been established with a total planned area of 12,745.62 hectares, 28 industrial parks have been put into operation with a total area of 12,045.62 hectares. Currently, the Provincial Industrial Parks’ Management Board is setting up tasks and general construction planning projects (scale 1/5000) for Dat Cuoc Industrial Park, specialized mechanical industrial park (Bac Tan Uyen I Industrial Park), and Vinh Lap Industrial Park. In addition, the management board has completed the local adjustment of the zoning plan (scale 1/2000) of My Phuoc 1 Industrial Park and My Phuoc 2 Industrial Park, appraised and approved the detailed construction planning project (scale 1/500) of Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park 3 (phase 2) with an area of 803.55 hectares and the detailed construction planning project (scale 1/500) of Cay Truong Industrial Park with an area of 700 hectares.
