 After concluding an online conference on foot-and-mouth disease in livestock host by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Deputy Chairman Tran Van Nam demanded local authorities to take necessary measures to prevent a possible epidemic in Binh Duong as proposed by Minister Cao Duc Phat. Accordingly, vet force and agencies are to coordinate preventive measures together with public education of foot-and-mouth disease harm.

 Prevention effort is high in Binh Duong Province when localities are allowed to allocate budget for emergency cases of epedemic control and prevention.

 Newest statistical facts put it that foot-and-mouth disease has burst out in 39 provinces, affecting 16,333 cattles and 1,700 pigs.
