Provincial Women’s Union focuses on improving the quality of cadres at all levels

The quality of provincial Women’s Union’s cadres is improving at requirements of women’s movements in general and of members in particular. Binh Duong Daily has an interview with Doan Thi Dieu Hien, chairwoman of provincial Women’s Union to know more about this.

What is your assessment of the quality of provincial Women’s Union’s cadres?

The quality of provincial Women’s Union’s cadres has been obviously improved in terms of age, professional and political competence. The number of the union’s cadres aging 35 and below accounts for 50% of total; those aging between 36 and 45 accounts for more than 27% of total. There are more than 26% of total with university and postgraduate education.

The above things show that provincial Women’s Union now has a young and competent staff. This is a strong point of the union, but also is a restriction because they lack working experience.

What does provincial Women’s Union step up to build up a strong staff?

Provincial Women’s Union and its affiliates are determined to build up a competent staff at requirements of women’s movements in general and of members in particular.

Particularly, they will flexibly implement the Central resolutions and provincial Party Committee’s Action Program on “Women-developing work in the period of intensified national modernization and industrialization”; create favorable conditions for women to improve their professional skills…

The local Women’s Union’s cadres also need to try their best to perfect themselves at requirements in the current context.

Which measures will provincial Women’s Union take for better development?

Provincial Women’s Union will promote the establishment and development of its affiliates while taking care of children and women’s lives and protecting their legislative rights and interests…
